As we say goodbye to summer and enter into fall we celebrate with the reveal of our recently completed project & photoshoot with you! This project has been a true labor of love and an amazing journey working with the lovely family that can now enjoy their home.
Nestled in a charming cul-de-sac, this beautiful home has undergone a remarkable transformation that we are immensely proud of. The team poured their hearts and souls into this project; the results speak for themselves. Read on to learn more!

Drawn to the neighborhood, local schools, and overall charm of the area, the home is perfectly situated on a lovely, well-developed property surrounded by mature trees. The layout of the house, however, felt segregated and congested. Opening up the rooms while honoring the traditional layout became the focus. The family loved the formal separation of rooms however, the use for each space was up for debate. For instance, a formal dining room was not high on the priority list, however, the option to host and seat more than a family of four on occasion was. Open sightlines to monitor children and defining areas for the family to both congregate and co-exist was essential.
These must-haves were what drove the design and a light, open, and airy aesthetic was the goal. Disrupting the existing 8’ foot ceiling height was not an option and navigating this challenge was achieved by opening up walls between the existing kitchen and dining room, incorporating necessary structural elements into a new ceiling design, and creating archways in solid walls to further connect the spaces.
Warm and earthy finishes created a cozy yet elegantly cohesive atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Placing emphasis on gathering spaces; a large, open kitchen with a breakfast nook to double as a homework zone, a play area for the children open to a lovely living room combined with more functional areas in the powder and laundry rooms, allows the family to feel connected.
As we stand back and admire the final outcome, we can't help but gush a little. This wasn’t just a project, but rather a testament to our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and our passion for creating spaces that people love to call home.
